The boarders’ fireworks went off with a fizz and then a bang on the night of 5th November!
At 6.00pm we enjoyed an amazing hog roast that the chef, George, had been preparing for five hours. The hard work really paid off because it was superb.
After we had eaten as much as we could, we stood eagerly on the bank to watch a fantastic show of fireworks that Mr Critchley had kindly prepared for us all, for the last time after many years of helping out with the CPS boarders’ Bonfire Night celebrations.
The next 15 minutes were filled with light, pops, bangs and colours. We thanked Mr Critchley for his last, and possibly best, EVER fireworks display yet.
