At Cranleigh Prep every child is seen and celebrated for who they are. Ex Cultur Robur, the Cranleigh motto, translates to ‘from culture comes strength’.

Traditionally, this would have meant teaching classical traditions and preparing pupils to lead across a range of industries. Today, it is the beacon lighting our journey towards greater equity, diversity and inclusion across the Cranleigh family of schools.

We are working hard to ensure that Cranleigh Prep is a place where diversity is not just celebrated as a token gesture but is an integral part of our DNA.

— Mrs Emma Lewis, Deputy Head Pastoral

A Place for Everyone

Building a culture of inclusivity requires reflection and action from our whole community. Our staff are working hard to remove unconscious bias in our operations, from the medical team through to the pastoral and teaching teams. We aim to ensure that everybody feels safe, respected and at home here.

Pupils are aware of their place within a wider world and fully embrace diversity.
