We are proud of our well-stocked library, which sits figuratively and literally at the heart of Cranleigh Prep. Reading for pleasure is encouraged from the off, and we believe that a genuine love of reading is the first step on the road to future academic success.
The Library is open all day, every day and children are encouraged to join us for reading sessions or quiet reflection. Pupils attend lessons in the Library as part of the English curriculum and with other subject teachers in liaison with the Librarian, Mrs Fenton, who also provides books for other curriculum subjects.
