Many parents will aspire to their children attending Cranleigh School, but this may not be the case for all. Indeed, as schools change and children develop, it is very difficult to have a fixed goal early on.

Our role is to listen to parental aspirations, watch the development of the child, and be aware of changes in senior schools. We put all these aspects together to best place a child. The process of gaining a place at a senior school has become increasingly complex over the years, as schools move away from traditional entry methods.

Although many schools will use the Independent Schools’ Examination Board’s pre-test in Form 4 (Year 6), others will have their own bespoke entry process. We are concerned with getting the right fit for each child so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about the processes involved in gaining a place at a senior school or about the schools themselves; if we do not know the answers, we will know someone who does!
