We love to meet new families and would be delighted for you to come and visit Cranleigh Prep. Our friendly and experienced admissions team will be on hand to offer support and guidance throughout every step of the admissions process.
Our main entry points are 7+ and 11+ however, we often have places available in the interim years and encourage you to book in to one of our open events. These include a comprehensive tour of the school, the opportunity to meet informally with the Head and to hear from current students. We are also happy to arrange individual visits during the working week.
If you like what you see on the first visit, please register via our Admissions Portal. Parents should register their child via the online portal and pay the £200 fee.
After registering your child, he or she will be invited to a Visit Day. As well as attending lessons, your child will fill out an ‘All About Me’ questionnaire and have a short informal interview. Children are invited to bring in something to discuss e.g. an object or a recent piece of work. We ask for a report from your child’s current school in advance. If your child is looking to join Year 6 then we will also arrange for them to sit a CAT4 computer-based assessment with us on their Visit Day.
We will make offers shortly after your child’s Visit Day. We make offers to those we feel will thrive academically and make a positive contribution to the wider Cranleigh Prep community.
After you have accepted a place, you will be invited to various events where the focus is on getting to know your child and introducing you all to the wider community at Cranleigh. We hold a New Pupils’ Day in June and our admissions team will keep you informed about other opportunities to come and visit us.
Interested in having a look around? We'd love to welcome you to our school on 5th October from 9:30am. For more information please read our admissions pages or contact admissions@cranprep.org with queries.
