On Friday 28th January, seventy-two Cranleigh Prep School runners took part in the annual Eagle House Cross Country meeting. This is an inter-school competition, and this year a total of 650 runners were involved.

All our runners did incredibly well and definitely did CPS proud. However, a special mention must go to our individual medal winners Eva M: 2nd Place in the U8 Girls, Chloe B: 1st Place in the U9 Girls, Maddie M: 1st Place in the U10 Girls, Olly D: 2nd Place in the U11 Boys, Dexter R: 3rd in the U13 Boys.

It was great seeing the runners enjoying themselves especially as it is a tough course consisting of the infamous ‘killer hill’, but the pupils came away with a positive experience which sees them looking forward to next year’s event.
