At CPS we keep the ‘grey matter‘ active to the very end of term with the keenly contested House Challenge Competition. The preliminary rounds were held on Tuesday afternoon with Hearts and Clubs winning their opening rounds and progressing to the Final on the last day of term.

On the final morning of Michaelmas, the third and fourth place play off saw Diamonds claim third place by beating Spades , 235 points to 160 points.

Just prior to Christmas lunch, the quizmaster was Mr Brooks, with Hearts and Clubs battling for the coveted House Challenge Cup.

It was tense right up to the final question, with both Houses on 225!  However, Clubs won overall with 245 v 225.

Well done to all the contestants for participating and congratulations to Clubs after a very closely fought contest!
