Lower School parents were enthralled and delighted by the high standards of entertainment at Friday’s Lower School Christmas Celebration. Form Two set the tone with some humorous & beautifully spoken raps and poems which were followed by the Lower School Choir singing ‘The Christmas Children’.
Form One’s innovative take on the traditional Nativity story, ‘The Magical Christmas Jigsaw’, had the audience marvelling at the enormous quantity of narration & songs.
Lines were delivered with confidence and volume, while the enjoyment as they danced and sang their way through the story was clear for all to see. Highlights were the Benny-Hill-style ‘Run with haste to Bethlehem’ and the more melodic & reflective final number, ‘Now our Story has been told’.
Our thanks go to Mr Brewer and Mrs McCambridge for designing and painting the beautiful Jigsaw which perfectly depicted the Nativity. Thank you Lower School – Christmas is most definitely on its way.
