Many congratulations to Alfie B, Form 4, whose poem on ‘Spring in Lockdown’ has been chosen to be featured in a published book called ‘A Poetry Odyssey – A Collection of Verse’.
Young Writers run a poetry competition all year round and welcomes poems on any theme. They provide a platform for young poets to share their thoughts, feelings and emotions on any subject that they are particularly interested in. A copy of ‘A Poetry Odyssey’, which is scheduled for publication in January 2021, will remain in the National Archives of the British Library forever. See a copy of Alfie’s poem below:
