Cecilia B has been awarded a Choral Scholarship at Holy Trinity and St Mary’s, Guildford, recognising her commitment to the choir and her experience as a singer and instrumentalist.
At the Harvest Festival service last weekend, she also took part in a short ceremony to become a full chorister at the church, following her probationary period.
The girls’ choir is made up of girls from the local area, who rehearse each week and then sing in either the morning or evening service with the adult choristers.
They are expected to work quickly and learn the professional behaviours that are required in this type of ensemble, as well as having lots of fun!
