Many congratulations to 3D, Mr Carne’s English set and our first class to have earned Masterclass status with Accelerated Reader this school year.
This is not an easy award to achieve. It is given to any class that has met and exceeded the excellent standards recommended by Accelerated Reader.
Every pupil in 3D has actively engaged in the programme and is reading for an average of 25 minutes every day. Almost all of them, 90%+, have been scoring 85% or higher on their Accelerated Reader quizzes over a 25 week period.
Alison Fenton, librarian, says “This is a fantastic achievement and I am very proud of them all. They justly deserved the Renaissance certificates and badges they were awarded in Assembly this morning”.
