There was no stopping our brilliant U12A girls team at the CPS netball tournament held here last week.  It was a busy afternoon, with six schools competing: Cranleigh Prep, Danes Hill, Eagle House, Highfield, Westbourne House and Windlesham.  Demonstrating some excellent skills and great team work, our U12A girls won all five of their matches and were overall winners of the whole tournament, with 25 points.  Eagle House came 2nd with 20 points and Windlesham House were 3rd with 12 points.

This success follows on from a great performance the previous week in the first round of the U12 Surrey Netball Championships.  Our CPS girls came 2nd to Guildford High in their group – the other four teams included Gravney, St. Catherine’s, The Royal School and Priors Field.  This means they have qualified for the final round of the Surrey Championships, which takes place on Sunday 28th February.IMG_5410
