On Tuesday, Form 5 took a trip to the Winchester Science Centre. Pupils were able to learn about our solar system and discover how rockets are launched.

The highlight of the visit was an incredible tour of the Milky Way, where we learned about the planets and their moons.

We also got hands-on with Newton’s third law—‘for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction’—by launching rockets in the lab using a rapid combustion reaction.
