On Monday Cranleigh Prep hosted their annual IAPS preliminary regional swim competition where we welcomed many visiting schools from all over the UK with one aim to secure personal best times to qualify through to the finals.

It was an exceptionally sizzling day on poolside with 37 CPS students competing in 51 U10 – U13’s event, the battle was on to qualify through to the top 20 places at the finals on 8th June at the iconic London Aquatic Centre.

Well done to all the team for all the hard yards and commitment to the training programme they started back in the Michaelmas Term.

To put it in to perspective, 400 children have entered this particular competition and IAPS will release the list of those swimmers who have qualified through to the finals at the end of April.

All fingers and toes are crossed CPS!! We wish all the team all the best.
