The children in Form 3 (Year 5) were each given a section of the overall image to work from as an abstract painting using a limited palette of acrylics.
They had no idea until it was finished what the painting was going to be. A Zebra in a sunset was the best guess!!
The brilliant photograph taken in 2013 by Nadav Kander was cropped and digitally stylised to suit the needs of young artists without any experience of portrait.
