Congratulations to Tracy Brooks who completed the Abingdon Marathon during half term for Papyrus.

The marathon didn’t quite go according to plan! Unfortunately, at about mile 3 Tracy felt her left calf ‘twang’ and has torn the muscle – it’s all a bit black and blue now!

However, Tracy continued the marathon which she says was all a bit painful for the last 23 miles! She did finish it though in 4 hours and 26 minutes – 26 minutes slower than she was hoping for. An amazing achievement with such an injury – raising money for a great cause.

There is still time to help Tracy reach her target  by donating to her Just Giving page here

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to Papyrus, so it’s the most efficient way to give – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
