Form 3 were joined by a 10th-century inhabitant of the Viking city of Jorvik during a virtual outreach session.
It was time to prepare for battle! They discovered some of the causes of raiding and warfare in Viking times, saw some of the weapons that were used and heard tales of warriors and even practised their warrior battle cry!
The pupils had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the lesson.
