At Cranleigh Prep School, we are lucky enough to be part of our UK school community, but we are also part of the entire Cranleigh family. On World Book Day 2022, we enjoyed working online with our friends at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi.

Our Form 1 classes enjoyed a joint reading lesson with the Cranleigh Abu Dhabi Year 2 Sharks and Seahorses. The children loved talking to each other, sharing their costumes and listening to a few stories together.

Some of our Form 4 pupils met the Year 6 year group in Abu Dhabi and shared an English lesson. Children from both schools wrote about their hopes for the future, filling their Roald Dahl inspired Dream Jar and sharing them with each other.

Finally, some of our Form 6 pupils met with the Year 8 pupils in Abu Dhabi, where they wrote Roald Dahl inspired rap music, complete with lyrics and backing tracks.

We are fortunate to be able to share educational experiences with our international Cranleigh family. We are looking forward to celebrating the UNESCO World Book Day in April with Cranleigh Abu Dhabi and Cranleigh China.
