Frank Baum, author of The Wizard of Oz, wrote “no thief, however skillful, can rob one of knowledge, and that is why knowledge is the best and safest treasure to acquire.”
As we become increasingly dependent on the internet for information, we are in danger of losing the treasure of knowledge. To help combat this, pupils at Cranleigh Prep take an annual General Knowledge Quiz at the end of the Michaelmas Term. They then have the opportunity to discuss the questions and find out the answers together with family and friends over the Christmas break. All pupils then sit the same quiz at the start of the Lent Term so see how much their knowledge has grown.
