On Tuesday the away friendly gala at Highfield for U9-U13’s mixed team of girls and boys was a noisy affair and we knew it would be a tough fixture as Highfield are one of our main IAPS competitors.
The programme of events incorporated IM (100m) races for the U12 and U13’s so a big thanks to all those gallant clubs’ swimmers who finished within a hair’s breadth of Highfield.
Congratulations to all the different year group teams for their individual wins as these always contribute to a whole team success. Finally, a big thank you for those children who swam up a year group to make up a team and for those who are brilliant about just giving it a go.
Sadly, this time we lost against Highfield – the lowest score wins (Highfield win 138 v CPS 175).
