We are delighted that Anise R has won a place in the National Youth Girls’ Choir, which is a fabulous achievement. It is notoriously difficult to win a place in a choir like this, as singers are competing against many other applicants from all over the country. She will take part in her first residential course next spring, COVID restrictions permitting.
She joins three existing CPS children who also sing at a national level. Cecilia B, Thomas D and Josie H are members of the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain, which also rehearses through a series of residential courses during school holidays. We very much value the experience and repertoire that these singers bring back to school. It enriches our own school ensembles and helps others to aspire to be the best that they can be.
