Many congratulations to Hannah-May, Form 4, who won silver medal in the first ever World Monologue Games. This was initiated in Australia over the summer as an opportunity for actors around the world to continue performing despite the devastating effects that Covid is having on various industries, including arts and entertainment.

This is a fantastic achievement, as 3000 actors from 85 countries registered; 185 went through to the regional livestream qualifiers and 75 made it into the Global Finals. There were 11 finalists in Hannah-May’s U12 age group category and she came second. She performed a piece that she had prepared for an online School of Rock audition in the summer, which was suggested by Mrs Ruth Williams, Head of Music.

Hannah-May has also just had a dance and singing recall for Matilda The Movie so we shall look forward to hearing more about her budding acting career going forwards!.
