Cara M, currently in Form 6, has been successful in gaining a place at the U13 Surrey Development Academy. The Academy is the first level on the England Netball Regional Excel Pathway and its aim is to provide players with the opportunity to receive high level coaching to help develop skills alongside other talented netballers from within the county.

Cara showed a promising level of skill, commitment and potential to improve as a netball player hence her call up to the Academy.

Sam Houghton, Director of Netball, says “We’re really pleased Cara’s talents have been recognised and look forward to seeing her skills blossom over the year. Surrey is renowned for producing excellent netballers, the likes of Katy Holland and Rhea Dixon have all graduated through the Surrey County system”.
