Yesterday afternoon CPS hosted yet another successful IAPS swimming preliminary meet on home turf which comprised of six highly competitive prep schools all competing for only 12 positions in the semi-finals and finals at the London Aquatics Centre on Saturday 8 June 2019.

There will be many preliminary IAPS meets taking place nationally between now and the end of April when the organisers will then release the results of those who have been successful in qualifying to the next stage of the competition.

We hope that all the hard work and commitment shown over the last two terms has paid off and fingers crossed that the CPS swim team have secured as many qualifying positions possible.

Kelvin Jones, our new Head of Swimming, says “I was very pleased to see the standard of our swimmers competing yesterday and massively impressed to see the swimmers starting to show the race skills we have been working on in training. Well done everyone and keep up the great work”.
