The Chapel looked wonderful yesterday morning, as pupils and staff took part in a lovely service taken by Tim Lewis, Chaplain of Cranleigh School, celebrating the Harvest Festival.  All the window sills, and several tables around the chapel, were adorned with goodies ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables, to chocolates, biscuits and tinned food.

Today the charity team and the Lower School Choir then took all the Harvest Festival goodies down to Rowley’s.  They were accompanied by Ruth Williams, Head of Music, and Marie Ward, Head of Piano.

The 10-piece choir of children aged between 7-9 years old, sang two pieces: ‘Everything Around Me’ and ‘The Power In Me.’ Their singing was delightful and the elderly people were extremely complimentary and clearly appreciated the visit.

The children then joined together with the adults to sing ‘All Things Bright And Beautiful’ which was a perfect way to finish. We look forward to more visits to Rowley’s in the future.

An enormous thank you to all our pupils and their families for their generous donations to the Harvest collection.  I’m sure it will be very much appreciated and enjoyed by all the residents at Rowleys.
