The Form 4s spent the morning painting a group image that, when each child’s contribution is put together, makes a large painting that will be installed outside the new Art Department.
They each had an A5 canvas and a section of an enlarged photo and their job was to recreate a painted rendition of their photo en grisaille. In other words, various shades of grey.
Accuracy of drawing and mixing the correct tones were the main challenges and the children really enjoyed it. They are all excited to see the image when it has been completed (4 missing!) and stuck together.
