Tate Modern braced itself yesterday as 64 Form 5 pupils arrived to take find out about Abstract Art. The trip was planned as part of their year-long abstraction project based on a chosen cartoon character.
They enjoyed finding works by Anthony Gormley, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, to name but a few.
While the gallery’s collection was educational and informative; the highlights for many were the giant pendulum, the swings and panoramic views of London from the 10th floor.
