On Friday 19th January the boy and girl boarders enjoyed a Tag Archery activity in the Wyatt Hall. This was a really special event and it was the first time it had been done at school.

An external company called Discover Archery Ltd arrived with all the equipment needed and gave us excellent instructions whilst they ran the activity with us. They did a fantastic job and we hope they will be back again soon.

To start with we put our archery skills to the test by practicing. We then participated in various other games which were set up by the company. One game included standing shoulder to shoulder with your team mates and you had to fire your arrow at the opposition; this sounds simple, but you were not allowed to move as the opposition team did the same back.

As a whole, we thoroughly enjoyed the tag archery and the feedback from all boarders was very positive. It was a first experience for many of us, it was fun to try something new and we are very excited that this activity will be repeated in the future.
