On Friday, CPS pupils raised money for children in need through a coin trail.  There was great excitement at break as Mr Perry had drawn three large pictures of the iconic figure of Pudsey, the lovable bear created as a mascot for Children in Need in 1985, in the Quad.

Pupils brought in a bag of coins, in varying colours, sizes and value, which they placed within the pictures of Pudsey.  Each year group took turns to do this, supervised by our Head Boy and Head Girl, Charlie and Georgie.

The School’s aim was to fill the three images of Pudsey.  After counting the £1s, 50ps, 10ps and 5ps, we’ve already raised over £450 for Children in Need – we still have all the 2ps and 1ps to count!
