On Saturday Form 5 pupils enjoyed a morning of Outdoor Education, which involved taking part in a wide array of leadership and team building activities.
It was an ideal opportunity for the children to join in with some practical tasks outside the classroom. This reinforced a range of skills, from listening to each other and respecting other peoples’ opinions to problem-solving and teamwork.
The boys and girls had a great time and it was wonderful to hear how much they had learnt and remembered in their review session.
We hope that these skills will be transferred back into their daily lives.
