All CPS pupils in Forms 1-4 are taking part in Roar2017.  This is an inspirational education project where the international voluntary organisation, ‘Lions Clubs’ and the ideas company 7billionideas, have come together in a bid to inspire the next generation to think big and dream big about the possibility of their ideas.

As part of their PHSE curriculum with Emma Lewis (Deputy Head Pastoral), pupils will be challenged to create inventions that could change the world.  Roar2017 aims to encourage the next generation of children to ‘roar out load’ about their ideas, whilst tying in with the symbol of the Lions!  As well as being stimulating and good fun, it should help to improve the children’s confidence and levels of self-esteem throughout the project.

Form 3’s designs are currently under construction, as shown in the photographs.  Over the next few weeks Forms 1, 2 and 4 will also be making some innovative creations, before the winning entry in this national competition is selected in November.
