The Lower School enjoyed a fantastic concert given by Chamberhouse Winds this week. Featuring some of Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’, it was an excellent opportunity to hear stories and music intertwined.
The narrator, Jonathan, was very entertaining and projected his speaking voice very well over the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn and piano.
The children especially enjoyed the novelty piece ‘Concerto for hosepipe and quartet’ and they loved joining in with the ‘Pink Panther’ at the end of the concert.
