On Saturday 4th March, a group of Prep School children attended the annual Pangbourne Piano Festival at Pangbourne College in Berkshire, with Dr Marie Ward.

The Festival provided an excellent incentive towards practising and it was fantastic to have five CPS pupils participating in it.

Sophie P-T, Jamie F and Edward T were all highly commended in their class.  Alice P and Anna C also represented CPS.

Dr Marie Ward, Head of Piano at Cranleigh School, says “The day proved highly successful, with pupils playing on very high quality Steinway instruments. 

I was very proud of all our pupils, who had clearly been practising hard.  I hope that, as a result of the feedback they all received, they will now raise their sights to new challenges ahead.”
