Form 6 visited Pitch Hill on Thursday 3rd November to carry out the fieldwork component of their current Geography study of Erosion.

We were blessed with atypical weather for fieldwork- dry and clear which made the process of carrying out practical fieldwork all the easier and more pleasurable!

Pupils were actively engaged in carrying out investigations of footpath erosion on the hill and all cooperated well and were fully involved in the experiments  on site. The results of this inquiry will form a part of their Michaelmas Humanities assessment this week.
