Many congratulations to Matilda who came second again (after coming second in 2015) at the National Climbing Finals at Ratho, in Scotland, last weekend. She is the younger year of her two year age group and she was leading going into the final climb but was just pipped by a singe point. It was still an excellent effort to finish in this position, out of 36 climbers taking part in the final after getting through the regional rounds earlier in the year.
Matilda was also part of the London and South East (South) team that won the team trophy which will be displayed at Craggy Island Climbing Centre in Guildford for the next 12 months.
