As part of their Humanities studies, Form 1 had a visit from Michael at Zoolab, who entertained them with stories about his recent adventures in Trinidad and his experiences in the Rainforest. The children loved seeing a variety of animals, including a land snail (apparently the slime is supposed to be a very good moisturiser…?!), Pierre the cockroach, a tarantula, a millipede, a rat and a corn snake. Some of the girls and boys were even brave enough to touch or hold the animals (but not the tarantula, we hasten to add)!

There was great excitement amongst the children and they thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
