Dear Parents and Visitors,
We have been informed about a road closure that will affect us all in August and September. Additionally, please find details about our Virtual Open Day and how we are minimising the risk of COVID-19.
Travel Advice for Visitors and Parents
We have been informed that Thames Water will be carrying out major works on Horseshoe Lane, starting on Monday 3rd August and lasting until approximately Friday 18th September.
They are not expecting the work to affect our water supplies.
During this time all traffic to the Schools will need to come from the Village end of Horseshoe Lane. Thames Water will put diversion routes in place, which will take you through Rowley on the West, and Barhatch Road / Ewhurst Road and through the Village on the East.
For your convenience, we have published a map of the closure and the expected consequences it will have.
Ongoing COVID-19 Advice
We continue to ask for the support of our community and all visitors to our school site to help us minimise the risk of COVID-19. We know this is an anxious time and we are very grateful, as always, for the support and kindness that exist within our immediate community.
Our Virtual Open Day can be accessed from our homepage, and private tours can be arranged on request. Our Admissions team is on hand to help families make decisions about Cranleigh Prep. Please call 01483 542051 to speak with Catherine Staples, our Head of Admissions.
