Form 6 pupil, Tommy U was also busy during the summer holidays attending a 4-night, residential National Youth Choir course in Harrogate.
They worked hard to learn a newly commissioned piece called ‘I am, we are’ by Oliver Tarney which incorporated lyrics written by some of the boys and Tommy was excited to be part of the professional recording! Listen out for his solo at the beginning of the piece when it’s released on Spotify in the coming months. The choir also made a YouTube music video and their hard work culminated in a showcase performance for family and friends.
Tommy is looking forward to singing with his friends (and playing football!) on his next course during the Easter holidays.
