During May, Form 5 pupils visited York on what was to be the schools last History trip to this wonderful city.
They enjoyed the magic of Helmsley Castle and walked in the footsteps of Medieval monks in the ruins of Byland Abbey.
Day 2 saw them visit the National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum and the recently refurbished Clifford’s Tower with its endless stairs – certainly not for the fainthearted.
A great time was had by all.
