Last week our boarders enjoyed a traditional Burns Night.
A bag piper played as the haggis was brought into the dining room. They ate a traditional Burns Night supper of haggis with whiskey sauce, neeps and tatties washed down with Irn–Bru a Scottish carbonated soft drink, often described as “Scotland’s other national drink” (after whisky)!.
Dinner was followed by much laughter and merriment as the boarders learnt some Scottish dancing.
A great time was had by all. Many thanks goes to everyone who participated to make this such a fun evening.
