As a school we were delighted that pupils from Forms 5 and 6 could participate in the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Training programme from the Diana Award, at Cranleigh School. Ten pupils spent the Day at Cranleigh School learning about; What bullying behaviour is; Developing an understand of how bullying behaviour makes someone feel; Beginning to see how they can support students in school; Thinking about ways they as a team can create their own exciting anti-bullying campaign over the coming year.

Needless to say the pupils have already started thinking of ways to start their anti-bullying campaign in school. Suggestions such as a Bullying Reporting App, student surveys, anti-bullying display boards, ‘Bullying Let Me Know Boxes’, Friendship benches the list is so long.

When asked what the Ambassadors thought about their day, here is what they had to say:

‘This was a very helpful and fun day.; an amazing experience. We are proud to be part of the first Anti-bullying Ambassadors for CPS. We are determined to make CPS a kinder and more respectful place for all.
