As part of our ACE programme (After Common Entrance), Form 6 ventured to the hills of Wintershall to watch the Biblical performance “The Life of Christ”.
With many interactive scenes and immersive moments, the whole audience was captivated by the retelling of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Running from 10 till 3, the show consisted of four acts in which the impeccable actors created an atmospheric and amazing production.
In one scene, Jesus threw me a loaf of bread during the feeding of the 5,000 (it was tasty!). We were fortunate to see the stage crew hard at work as they delivered cues and directions to the sound and cast. It’s not just the actors who have a large role to play in an enormous performance such as this.
It was incredible to witness the greatest story of all time come to life in front of our eyes and something I will remember forever (especially the bread).
