6F enjoyed a wonderful trip to the south coast on Tuesday 8th June, celebrating the end of their academic scholarship exams. Hats and sun cream were essential as we were blessed with clear blue skies and a cooling sea breeze.

In the morning, the pupils took part in a beach clean, recording their findings as part of a national Marine Conservation Society survey. This was followed by a lovely lunch at a local café on the seafront.

The pupils were able to blow off some steam in the afternoon, taking part in indoor (and, thankfully, air conditioned!) rock climbing and playing a round of crazy golf.

It was a great opportunity for the pupils to bond and enjoy each other’s company after the stresses and strains of their year in the classroom.

The day was topped off with Freddie F’s three consecutive hole-in-ones on the last three holes of the crazy golf course, leaving Mr French and Mr Batchelor no option but to celebrate with ice creams all round!
