It was fantastic to be able to get our COVID-safe golf fixture played on Tuesday 11th May. Westbourne House, Danes Hill and Cranmore brought teams over for the annual (we will forget 2020) Cranleigh Quad competition.

The standard was as high as ever and the course was in fantastic condition. The Cranleigh Prep team, captained by Henry P, all played extremely well, with a number of birdies scored between the group. The weather even held fair for the duration of the match, which was an unexpected bonus.

The format of the competition meant that all players played off scratch and the top four scores were combined for a team total. Cranleigh just pipped the current holders, Danes Hill, by one shot, to claim the win and the coveted trophy until next year.

Chris Stone, Head of Golf, says ‘A huge thank you to the other schools for coming over and taking part in the resumption of sporting fixtures. #golfisback’
