Yesterday we ran our fourth virtual Cranleigh Prep Explorers event this term for prospective pupils.  Whilst current restrictions prevent us hosting visitors on site, these virtual events allow future generations of Cranleigh Prep pupils to continue to experience a taste of life at Cranleigh Prep.

Mrs Beddison and Mrs Unwin hosted c.25 pupils via Zoom with some fabulous Christmas entertainment. Ably assisted by our superb IT team filming the occasion, they sang a range of Christmas songs from Shepherd’s Dance, Jingle Bells and Away in a Manger to Ding Dong Merrily on High and Walking in the air.

It was so lovely to see lots of happy faces on the big screen, joining in with all the actions, singing and dancing. This wonderfully festive Christmas Celebration came to a close with all the participants singing along to The Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy, then finishing off with We wish you a Merry Christmas.

With an introduction from Mr Neil Brooks, in addition to meeting Mrs Beddison and Mrs Unwin, this gave our prospective pupils an opportunity to interact with some staff and each other, whilst also getting a glimpse of what’s to come when they join us in September.

Next year we will be running our Cranleigh Prep Explorers events for younger children registered to start at Cranleigh Prep School in 2022. We still have a few spaces left for entry in 2021 in the lower years. If you would like any more information, please do contact or speak to Mrs Catherine Staples, Head of Admissions, on 01483 542051.
