It has been wonderful to see future generations of Cranleigh Prep pupils experiencing a taste of life at Cranleigh Prep via our new virtual Cranleigh Prep Explorers events this term.

Ably assisted by our superb IT team, Mr Rob Perry, Head of Art, has run two fantastic virtual ‘Halloween-themed’ Art Class via Zoom so far, with a third taking place next week. Whilst demonstrating how to draw a magnificent cartoon pumpkin, Mr Perry interacted with all his enthusiastic participants at each stage.

The budding young artists were totally focussed throughout the half hour sessions both weeks, as Mr Perry explained how to draw their pumpkins step by step, adding colour and tone, with coloured pencils or pens.

With an introduction from Mr Neil Brooks, Headmaster, and a round-up informal discussion with Mrs Emma Unwin, Head of Lower School, this gave our prospective pupils an opportunity to meet some staff and each other, whilst also getting a glimpse of what’s to come when they join us in September.

We are currently running our Cranleigh Prep Explorers events for younger children registered to start at Cranleigh Prep School in 2021. If you are interested in your child taking part, please do contact or speak to Mrs Catherine Staples, Head of Admissions, on 01483 542089.
