Lower School pupils and Year 1 from Glenesk, Ewhurst Infants, Wonersh & Shamley Green and St Cuthbert Mayne enjoyed a wonderful musical adventure with Hubbub! Four exceptional musicians shared with the children a magical and creative new show, which combined Chamber Music and wonderful storytelling.

Hubbub! presented a theatrical story about a mischievous beetle and the quest for the lost voice. Their adaptation of The Tempest by Shakespeare took place in a den like structure, bringing the pupils within touching distance of the musicians.

This immersive and intimate adventure was ideal to immerse the pupils into the wonderful world of classical music. The whole experience was a joyful artistic moment for all children. Through this unique experience the pupils were introduced to four instruments: violin, cello, clarinet and bassoon.

Creative Arts are at the heart of Cranleigh Prep School, and its Concert Series introduces our pupils to the rich, fascinating and exciting world of classical music.
