The Chapel was decorated with an array of fabulous goodies, ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables, to chocolates, biscuits and tinned food, ready for our annual Harvest Festival celebrations.
Mr Tim Lewis, Chaplain of Cranleigh School, took a very entertaining service. He spoke to us about the many things we have to be thankful for, ranging from his Amazon Alexa to his family, showing us how important it is that we are thankful to God for the many blessings we have.
The Chapel Choir were in fine voice as they sang ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’, whilst the whole school sang the traditional Harvest hymn ‘We Plough the Fields and Scatter’.
After the service, Form 4 packed up all the produce donated for our Harvest Festival, then the Form 6 Charity team delivered it to Rowley’s Day Centre whilst the Lower School Choir sang Harvest songs for everyone.
Many thanks to our pupils and their families for their generous donations, and to those who helped to decorate the Chapel.
