The Lower School enjoyed their annual “French day” with an appropriate “Vive les vacances” theme!
The students travelled around the school and learnt about five different holiday regions in France and what the area had to offer.
They designed ski wear for Rhône Alpes; they played Pétanque in Provence, they ate crêpes in Brittany; they got a guided 360 degree tour of the best tourist attractions in Paris, and in the Pays Basque, they learnt how to ask and understand “les directions pour aller à la plage s’il vous plaît ?”
We may even have influenced their “choix de destination pour les vacances” for next year !
