We now have a total 14 prefects supporting Megan T (Head girl) and Eddie R (Head boy) after announcing four new prefects in Assembly on Friday.

Our leadership team have been promoted out of their cohort because they have shown excellent leadership skills, empathy for others and a desire to make Cranleigh Prep a better place for everyone.

The prefects have decided to make a positive impact by improving the snack arrangements, by organising and running the different year groups, as well as ensuring that the lockers in corridors are kept tidy and clear.

They will be looking to give back to the wider community once their examination pressures have subsided and associate themselves with local charities and community groups.

The prefects will take a greater role within their Houses and encourage younger pupils to represent their respective Houses in the myriad of extra-curricular activities that are offered.

Christopher Stone, who oversees the prefects, says “The four recent promotions are testament to many pupils who are constantly striving to be part of the esteemed group and we will look to promote some more if pupils go above and beyond in the next couple of months”.
